What's included at £3 per seat?

Everything. Leave management, employee records and org chart, performance reviews (including calibration, 9-box and PIPs), recruitment with applicant tracking, goals and OKRs, recognition and kudos, engagement surveys, payroll sync with Staffology, and full analytics. There are no tiers and no paid add-ons.

Do I need a credit card to start?

Yes — we capture card details on day one via Stripe (with 3D Secure authentication) but we do not charge on day one. Your first invoice runs at the end of day 30.

How does the 30-day free period work?

You get full access to every feature from day one. Thirty days after you sign up we bill for the peak number of active seats in that cycle. If you cancel before day 30 you are not charged at all.

Can I migrate from BambooHR, Gusto or Rippling?

Yes. smpl's onboarding import auto-detects CSV exports from BambooHR and Gusto and pre-fills the field mapping for you; exports from Rippling, ADP, HiBob and PeopleHR are also supported via the same flow. Most companies are live inside a single afternoon.

Is payroll included?

smpl is not a payroll system — but it syncs employee data with Staffology (with BrightPay on the roadmap), so your payroll provider always has the current source of truth. The payroll sync is included in the £3 per seat price.

Do you support SSO?

Email and magic-link sign-in are standard. Enterprise SSO (SAML, Okta, Entra ID) is on the roadmap; reach out if it's a deal-breaker for you and we'll prioritise it.

Where is my data hosted?

UK and EU regions, on hardened infrastructure. We publish our security posture at /trust, including sub-processor list, DPA availability and incident response. All customer data is isolated per organisation.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. There is no annual contract and no minimum term. Cancel from inside the app and your current cycle finishes; we do not open another one.
